We're just a short walk from the coach and rail stations - with no hill to climb. There are shops, supermarkets, buses, restaurants and plenty of pubs and clubs all nearby. We are also the closest hostel to an Airport Bus stop (West End/Shandwick place).

All our rooms are bright, clean and comfortable with new mattresses and quality bedding. We will supply FREE of charge sheets, pillows and a Duvet/Comforter so all you will need to bring is a towel – you can also hire towels from reception.

With plenty of hot showers and bathrooms on every floor, 3 well equipped kitchens, TV rooms, Internet facilities and a 24-hour laundry all inside the hostel what else could you need?

How about a large bar - Caledonian Backpackers also provides its guests with a huge licensed, late opening bar!

On regular nights you can enjoy the international atmosphere and great music, Theme Parties, Thursday night Pool competitions and Sunday Movie Special shown on the bars large screen TV.

Our staff are multi-lingual and very friendly- our reception is manned 24 hours a day and staff are always happy to provide you with information about the city, places to go and things to do, including information about the many tours available.

When you need to stay in touch, take advantage of our free fax (receiving), mail and message service. There is also a payphone and DSL internet access so you can keep in touch by email.
